Proactively Addressing The Pains Of Our Lives

life's a pleasure without pain (but pain has a value too)

Inflammation is a response from your immune system in response to an irritant. For example, if you sprain your ankle, your immune system creates a protein called a Circulating Immune Complex (CIC for short). The CIC travels down to the injured ankle and causes pain and swelling.

The BIZNIZ Ladies know that chronic pain can quickly change any ideas you had of having a great day.  That doesn't mean that you have to give up on the day all together.  We have got to find ways to push the pain back and build up tolerance that will allow us to find enjoyment in the day at hand.

The act of breathing is not only a physical process, but it can also be a tool to move our pain, negative thoughts, and worry out of our bodies and hearts, replacing these with a better sense of self. In a quiet place, breathe in slowly and deeply, then let the breath out, expelling stress and pain with it. Feel the sharpness of pain subside as relaxation and calm take its place.

The pain you feel is to inform you of the injury or damage. And the swelling is protective as it prevents you from moving it and causing more irritation. This is also your body's way of running to the problem with fresh blood, antibodies and vital cells in order to begin healing and repairing the damage

After viewing The Healthy Back Institute's Lose The Back Pain
System, all I can say is that it's revolutionary in the treatment
and curing of back pain and sciatica.  This team of doctors,
physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and personal
trainers put together a completed package.

The system teaches you how to self-asses your specific conditions
and how to correct it.  The corrective exercises and stretches are
performed by the individuals as demonstrated in the 2 DVD's and
Manual.  One of the neatest aspects of this self assesment is that
it takes away the guessing.  The very first step involves having
someone take pictures of your posture in several different
specified positions and angles.  This is used in determining which
stretches and exercises should be performed to CORRECT the problem.
That is the whole intention of this system; TO CORRECT.  Most back
pain is caused by muscle imbalances which lead to compensation
therefore pain.  The exercises and stretches that you will perform,
are intended to correct those imbalances to get rid of your pain.

There are also two CD's which outline how to get the best results
out of the system, strategies to reduce and manage your pain, and
condition specific recommendations.

What most doctors recommend when you tell them you have back pain
is to take addictive muscle relaxers and pain killers.  And in
some cases surgery, which from most of the post-surgery patients
i've seen, most haven't had relief.  Often times they just traded
one problem for another.

Therefore, it is my recommendation that anyone with back pain or
Sciatica try the Lose The Back Pain system by The Healthy Back
Institute.  It is a natural way of correcting your condition and
becoming pain free.

What is Pain? Pain is your body's way of telling you that something is wrong, much like a fever. And just like with a fever, most people simply mask the pain instead of dealing with the underlying cause of the problem.

If you follow our informal book club, you could find many benefits in this book: "The Women's Book of Empowerment: 323 Affirmations That Change Everyday Problems into Moments of Potential," by Charlene M. Proctor, Ph.D.

Chronic Pains attack our minds and bodies at many points. We have to use multiple processes to help us tolerate the levels of pain we face.  There is clearly no one answer to solving chronic pains.  I have found that the more processes I use the greater the level of tolerance to the pain I have.  Using multiple processes has allowed me to face each day knowing that when the pain is at it's worst I can still hold on and make it thru to a better time.  I guess you'd call it the light at the end of the tunnel.

Introducing Snap Shots from Snap.com

I just installed a nice little tool on this site called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.

Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you "look ahead," before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.

Should you decide this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out.

Eliminate Back Pain Quickly Without Harmful Medications or Dangerous Surgery

5 simple steps for ridding yourself of back pain

Millions of people suffer from back pain unnecessarily when there is actually a very simple solution, according to Jesse Cannone , certified personal trainer and back pain specialist.  "Unfortunately, many people are led to believe that back pain is normal and were all supposed to experience it... well, thankfully, that’s not the case. Eliminating back pain is not nearly as difficult as most people think or are led to believe... it can actually be easy!" says Cannone.

Here’s the simple system that MUST be followed if you are looking for real, long-term, lasting relief:

1. Identify the cause – nearly all of the treatments people receive for back pain only focus on the symptoms and the health care professionals zoom in on only the problem area. The real key in eliminating back pain is to find out exactly what’s causing the problem... and most of the time it’s not even the back!

2. Address both the cause and the symptom – the best approach is a combination of treating the symptoms for pain relief while also addressing the underlying cause.

  3. Be aware – many people suffering from back pain are not in tune with their bodies and during their treatment they do not realize what is working and what is not. In order to achieve long-term relief you have to understand how your body works, what’s causing the problem, and what changes have to be made to correct it.

4. Consistent Focused Action - achieving success in anything requires consistency and focused action. Most people with back pain won't make the time to work on their problem each day... instead they take pain killers which mask the pain and allow them to cause more damage while they continue with their life.

5. Don't do what doesn't work - we already know that most traditional treatments for back pain don't work.... why waste your time, energy, and money? The real key to eliminating back pain is to identify the true cause of the pain and then address it with a combination of treatments to treat both the cause and symptoms. Over 80% of all back pain is caused by muscle imbalances... NOT a lack of pain killers or surgery! Find out what's going on in your body and take action.

What is it?

Funny thing is, the medical community has not standardized the term. So, if you’re told you have a slipped disc, a prolapsed disc, a bulging disc, a ruptured disc, or even degenerative disc disease, it’s essentially the same thing. The terminology just depends on who you’re talking to.

Technically, a herniated disc occurs when the outermost part of the disc begins to weaken and the inner soft part starts to press outward. Most people don’t even know they have a herniated disc until the herniation is touching the nerve. And, yes, you can have a herniated disc and not have pain.
